BROTHER TN450 vs. BROTHER DR420

It may have happened to many of us. When we look at our invoice and the item that we have received in the mail and wonder if they are the same thing. Or maybe even they have shipped a wrong product, because they do not look similar at all. This is the most common mistake that happens when changing TN450model toner cartridge. There are two cartridges in the following Brother printers that takes TN450as a cartridge model:

How to change the cartridge for this model is important... so lets pay a close attention.
TN450 is the TONER cartridge and DR420is the DRUM unit. But when you remove it from your printer you will see just one cartridge.
That is when we start questioning the fact that whether we have received a correct cartridge or not. There will be a green tab located on the left side of the drum unit.
By pushing the tab downward the toner cartridge will pop up and releases. Then you will see two cartridge are separated and you can change the toner cartridge at this time. Place the new toner cartridge and slide it right into the drum unit.
